DEMONCRACY

GOD'S ARMY - DEMONCRACY - ONLINE PREVIEW NOW AVAILABLE!

With their second album, God’s Army really seem to have found their niche. The rise of artificial intelligence, capitalist warmongering and the possibility of an imminent dystopian future, provide the lyrical backdrop to a complex musical landscape where hook-laden hard rock mixes perfectly with progressive, melodic metal.

Musically, the band really pushed themselves to the limit on this record and the performances of the individual musicians are outstanding, with Mark and John laying down a driving, punchy rhythmic foundation complimented by solid chops and classy soloing by Ian and Eddie.

Although the production is very fresh and up to date, you can hear in the music echoes of the great records of the past, from the time when bands played what they wanted to play and weren't afraid to push the envelope. There is no pandering to the modern heavy music market on the album, no songs about werewolves or vampires or any of the silliness which has dogged the genre in recent decades. God's Army have a message and they want you to listen! Hit the preview link above to hear the new record, Demoncracy in its entirety.

A NOTE OF GRATITUDE!

God's Army would like to thank everyone who has supported us over the last few years. It's been a long, tough road for us to bring this album to completion and as everyone knows; the music industry today is not what it once was, but we must keep the faith and keep flying the flag for true rock music! Like Lemmy said, Rock & Roll is the only true religion.

Bands and artists in the current musical environment rely even more than before on the direct support of music fans so we are deeply indepted to everyone of you who has purchased a CD or t-shirt from us and to those who have come to see us play live. We hope to meet more of you in the very near future.

Thanks for reading and for visiting this website!
